The J2X was a car produced by Allard between 1951 and 1953.

The J2X which sold from 1952 to 1954, and was basically a Allard J2 with the front radius rods changed from leading to trailing. The frame was extended forward 6 inches to accommodate them.

The wheelbase was unchanged at 100 inches and the engine was also moved forward 7.5 inches which added space in the cockpit. This also improved the handling.

Most of the cars were ordered with the Cadillac and Chrysler engines, which could be tuned for up to 230 bhp and 330 lb-ft of torque.

Including the Le Mans bodied cars, a total of 87 J2X were built.
