Alvis 12/60

The Alvis 12/60 was made for two years between 1931 and 1932. In this time a total of 229 cars were produced.

This model included a 4 cylinder engine with a capcity of 1645cc. The engine had overhead valves and was able to produce 56hp.

The cars had a single plate clutch connected to a four speed gearbox. The brakes were cable operated and the cars also had all round semi-elliptical suspension.

The wheelbase measures 9ft 4in and the weight of the car is 2464lb (1119kg).

The 12/60 was able to reach speeds of up to 75mph (121kmh).

The Alvis 12/60 cost £410 for the two-seater model when new.
