The Argyll 12/40 was a car manufactured by Argyll between 1926 and 1929. About 250 cars were made during its three year production run.

The Argyll 12/40 has an engine which has four cylinders and has a capacity of 1631cc. The engine has single sleeve valves and a single plate clutch connected to a four-speed gearbox. It was able to produce 40hp .

The suspension was all round semi-elliptical springs and the car had brakes on all four wheels. The wheelbase is 9ft 3in and a curb weight of 2240lb (1017kg).

The Argyll 12/40 cost £475 for the four-seat fast tourer model.
