BMW M2 -

The BMW M2 was a concept cat built in 1981 as an alternative to Giugiaro's BMW M1.

The car was built for the Le Mans race driver Jean Rondeau. The car was a one-of concept designed by Luigi Colani with no possibility of production. The car was painted matt white and was more fluid and liquid than Giugiaro's wedge-shaped design.

It was first shown at the 1981 Paris Motor Show and was fitted with a front-mounted twin-turbo V8.
