The Benz 20/35 PS was a car between Benz & Cie between 1909 and 1910..
The car was originally equipped with a four-cylinder inline engine with a capacity of 5195cc giving 35 hp (26 kW) at 1400rpm. The engine power was transferred through a cone clutch to a four-speed gearbox, and from there (depending on what the customer ordered) it drove via chains or a propshaft and the power was transferred to the rear wheels. The top speed was 47mph (75 kmh). In 1910, the displacement was reduced to 4850cc.
The leaf-sprung vehicle was equipped with wooden spoke wheels and tires.
