The Benz 21/50 PS was the first six-cylinder model made by Benz & Cie.
The car was equipped with a six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 5340cc and the power output was 50 hp (37 kW) at 1650rpm. The engine power was a transferred through a cone clutch and forwarded to a four-speed gearbox. From there the power was delivered to the rear wheels via a propshaft. The top speed was 50mph (82 kmh).
The vehicles were equipped with rigid axles and leaf-sprung wooden or wire-spoke wheels.
