The Benz 28/30 PS was a large car built by Benz & Cie between 1905 and 1908.
The car was equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 4520cc which produced between 28 and 30 hp (21-22 kW) at 1400rpm. The engine power was transferred through a cone clutch to a four-speed gearbox and from there (depending on what the customer ordered) the power drove chains or a propshaft and power was delivered to the rear wheels. The top speed was 46mph (75 kmh).
The leaf-sprung vehicle was equipped with wooden spoke wheels and pneumatic tires.
