The Brabham BT23 was a Formula One racing car that Brabham built in the late 1960's.

The BT23 was a Formula 2 racing car designed, like most vehicles of this kind, to also compete in Formula One.

There was also a Tasman version of the BT23 which was converted by private drivers and raced in Formula 1.

The car had a tube frame, reinforced by load-bearing plates in the Tasman.

The engine was a 200-hp Cosworth FVA-engine. Jochen Rindt dominated the Formula 2 seasons in 1967 and 1968 with his BT23.

Top drivers of the BT23 included Derek Bell, Kurt Ahrens, Piers Courage, Peter Gethin and Robin Widdows.
