The British Salmson 12/70 was a two-seater roadster produced between 1934 and 1936.
The 12/70 had the same 1471cc straight-four twin-cam hemi-head engine with alloy pistons and rods as the 12/55 but output was upgraded to 70bhp with an extra carburettor and raised compression.
The 12/70 had an uprated gearbox with synchromesh on the top two ratios.
A range of British-designed bodies were offered. These included a two-door Sports and a two-door Tourer.
