The Buckler BB100 was a roadster kit car produced between 1958 and 1962.

Prototype

The prototype (registration SBW 100) is also known as the Buckler BB100 Silverstone due to it being raced at Silverstone in 1958.

It was fitted with a front-mounted straight-four side-valve 1172cc (72 cu in) engine that had a power output of 49 hp at 5,200rpm. The power from the engine was transmitted through a four-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.

The wheelbase was 75 inches long with the body being 140 inches long. The body was also 56 inches wide and had 6 inches of ground clearance. Empty, the car weighed 840 lb. Drum brakes were fitted at the front and rear.

Production

The cars were fitted with a front-mounted straight-four 997cc (61 cu in) The power from the engine was transmitted through a four-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.
