The Model A was a veteran car manufactured by Cadillac from 1902 to 1904.
It was the first vehicle built by the company, which was established the year of the Model A's introduction. The Model A was eventually imported to Britain by F. S. Bennett, who drove it in the 1903 Thousand Miles Trial.
It was fitted with a 1609cc single-cylinder engine rated at 10 hp, and the Model A was capable of reaching up to 30 mph (48.28 km/h). Bore and stroke were square at 5 in (127 mm).
The car was also known as the Cadillac Runabout or the Cadillac Tonneau.
The successor was the Cadillac Model B which was introduced in January 1904.
