The DAF 95 was a lorry introduced in 1987 by DAF as the successor to the DAF 2800. The DAF 95 had an Advanced Turbo Intercooling engine (abbreviated ATI).
The DAF 95 was unnveiled at the International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles in 1987. Initially only a 11.6 litre DAF ATi 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power output 228, 257 and 280 kW (310-380 hp) was available.
The DAF 95 won the 1988 Truck of the Year award for the development of a large transport capacity at low operating costs.
