The Type A 25CV was a car produced by the French luxury automaker Darracq.
The Type A 25CV was one of the last models of the Darracq in the company's own right. It was a limousine with three lights, clearly inspired by American style. It was equipped with a 4594cc V8 engine with a bore and stroke of 75x130 mm. The vehicle had a rear-wheel drive and a four-speed gearbox. For suspension, the frame included semi-elliptic leaf springs in the front and a leaf spring cantilever in the rear.
The car, however, had limited success due to the high listing price, high fuel consumption and a precarious grip.
The total production amounted to about 500 units, the last of which was not delivered until long after the entrance of the Darracq into the group S.T.D. (Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq).
