The Datsun 520 was a pickup that was made ​​from 1966 to 1972. It was the successor to the Datsun 320.

The car was equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1299 cc. The power output was 67 bhp (49 kW) which was able to accelerate the car to 125 km/h. The engine power was transmitted via a four-speed gearbox to the rear axle.

From 1968, it was made longer by 55 mm. There were new engines with displacements of 1483cc and 1595cc available. The engines produced 77 bhp (57 kW) and 96 bhp (71 kW) respectively.

In 1972, it was replaced the more modern Datsun 620.
