The Type 1 was a car produced between 1895 and 1899 by the French automaker Delahaye.
The Type 1 was the first car produced by Delahaye. It had a very spacious cockpit with respect to the parameters of the time.
It had a 2512cc engine, located at the rear. This engine produced a power output of 7 CV at 525rpm.
The car was rear-wheel drive and fitted with a two-speed manual gearbox. The final drive was chain.
Maximum speed was about 35-40 km/h.
375 Type 1 cars were built until 1899.
