The N176 is a racecar which was entered in the 1976 season of Formula 1 by the Ensign team. It was driven by Chris Amon, Hans Binder, Jacky Ickx and Patrick Snow
The car had a 3000cc Ford Cosworth DFV V8 engine and a Hewland DG 400 five-speed gearbox. It had an aluminium monocoque chassis. The car rode on Goodyear tyres.
The N176 did have much better success than it's predecessors. It debuted at the 1976 Spain GP where it finished 5th and entered it's last race in the 1976 Japan GP where it did not enter due to the driver having an injury.
