The Fergus Mosquito was a kit car made to replicate the Aston Martin Ulster of the 1930s. The cars had a fibreglass body attached to a box section frame with double wishbone and torsion bar front suspension. To make the car look more authentic, decorative 'semi-elliptic' springs were fitted to the front dumb irons. All the cars were fitted with 18in wire wheels which set the Mosquito apart from its rivals which were often spoilt by modern wheels. The engine was a 1.8-litre Rover B series, also available in a Stage II 2-litre version.
