The Ford Connecta was an electric concept car designed by Ghia in 1991.
The Connecta was based on a Ford Escort van (which may not sound exciting), but Ghia’s Connecta was an important show car, be Ford's first electric show car.
The body-shell was made of lightweight carbon-fibre and could seat six people (four forward-facing, two rearward) in a length of only 166 in (421 cm).
