The Ford Granada Altair was a concept car made by Ghia in 1980.
This car was an elegant reworking of the MkII Ford Granada by the coachbuilders at Ghia in Turin. Its Granada Altair project was dignified in its simplicity, while the Avant Garde and, in particular, the Brezza (both Escort-based) were delightful compact coupes.
The Granada Altair has a super-slippery body to reduce wind resistance. It has an impact-absorbing bumper and deep spoiler up front. Engine cooling air is delivered via a free duct channel.
