1936 Ford Model 68 5-window coupé hot rod

The Ford Model 68 was an American car produced by Ford from 1932 to 1942. Production was at its peak in 1936 when 978,812 Model 68s were built.

The car also changed quite a lot in 1936 as the engine was moved, the body was widened and the front springs were moved forward of the axle and the rear springs rear of the axle, giving the car the 'center poised ride', as Ford called it. The wings were made rounder and the grille, bonnet and wheels were all made sleeker to make the car appear more modern and appealing.

Various body styles were available. One could choose between a roadster, a cabriolet, a phaeton, a station wagon or a coupé.
