The Ford XP Bordinat Cobra was a concept car built in 1965.
The car was built for Gene Bordinat who directed the styling studio to create a second version of the Cougar II for him.
The Bordinat Cobra was the first coil-spring chassis Cobra. It has a unique plastic body painted metallic silver and features a 289 High-Performance engine with a C4 automatic transmission.
Although it was in many ways a "dream car," the XP Bordinat Cobra was never apart of Ford’s second generation X Car program.
