The Ginetta G10 was launched at the 1965 British Motor Show, with similar dimensions as the MGB, with the MGB being the donor car for the doors and the wind screen.
However it was fitted with a 4728cc Ford V-8 (because American customers had more faith in engines from Detroit than Europe) with a phenomenal power to weight ratio, however only 6 were built, but demand had been created for a more practical version.
The G10 could reach 150 mph and produced 270 bhp. The car came as a two-seater sports car or as a two-seater coupe.
