The 8hp was a car built by Gwynne between 1922 and 1925.
The car had a four cylinder 950cc overhead camshaft engine. The engine also had a three-bearing crankshaft, aluminium pistons and the camsgaft was driven by gears.
The engine was connected to a three-speed gearbox via an inverted cone clutch. The engine produced 24bhp and the top speed of the car was between 60-70mph (97-113kmh).
The chassis was 7ft 3in long and had semi-elliptical leaf-springs all round. Brakes were fitted on the rear wheels and controlled by both the footbrake and hand brake.
The car cost £262 but then the price was increased to £270 later on.
It is not known for sure how many of these cars were built.
