The 1100 was a car made by HRG between 1938 and 1939 and again between 1946 and 1950. Only 49 examples were ever built.
The 1100 used the 1075cc four-cylinder Singer 9 hp engine which had a single overhead camshaft. The engine was connected to a four-speed gearbox (with synchromesh on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears) via a single-plate clutch. The engine could produce 38 bhp and had a top speed of 78 mph (126kmh).
The chassis was 8 ft 7in (3in shorted than the 1500) and had quarter-ellipticl leaf-springs on the front and semi-elliptical leaf-springs on the rear. Cable operated brakes were fitted as standard.
The car cost £289 when new.
