The Healey Sportsmobile was a car made between 1948 and 1950. It was not a big success with only 23 cars being made. The car was a two-door, four-seater drophead coupe.
The car was fitted with a 2443cc Riley straigh-four OHV engine and two SU carburettors. The engine was longitudinally front-mounted in the Sportsmobile with power being sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox. The engine produced 105hp (77 kW) at 4500rpm which propelled the car to 105mph (169 km/h).
The car was as good as the other Healey models but this model did not have the appeal of the others.
