The Jago Jeep was a kit car that was produced between 1971 and 1995.

The body was made using a mould directly from an original Jeep which was then fitted to a ladder frame chassis which had been fitted with the mechanicals from the Ford Anglia

Because of continuous improvements with donor specifications and a cheap entry level price to kit construction, the Jago Jeep sold in very large numbers over the years. The kit was relatively easy to build due to its basic nature. Later developments would see the Jeep based on Morris Minor, Ford Escort (Mk1 and Mk 2), Ford Sierra and Suzuki 4x4.
