The Jaguar XJR-4 was a prototype racecar built for the 1982 season. The XJR-4 was designed by Lee Dykstra.
The XJR-4 is powered by a 60-degree Normal V12 engine that had a displacement of 5801cc. It produces 650bhp at 7500rpm and 479.25 ft-lbs at 6000rpm. The car was fitted with a five-speed manual transmission.
The car was mid-engined and power was delivered to the rear wheels. The chassis was of a monocoque design which was made from aluminium. The boy was made from carbon fibre and Kevlar. With the engines 650bhp the XJR-4 had a top speed of 217.525 mph (350 km/h).
