The Jowett Eight (also called the Jowett 8 hp) was an automobile which was produced between 1937 and 1940. A total of 2888 cars were made.

The Eight was made both as a saloon (Standard and De Luxe) and in commercial models (7cwt/1 cwt vans and lorries). The chassis was lowered and widened with a built in jacking system.

The Eight was powered by a 946cc flat horizontally opposed twin cylinder engine with a four speed gearbox, Bendix Cowdray brakes and 12 volt electric system (commercials 6 volt).

The cars cost £169 for a Standard model and £179 for a De Luxe model in 1938.
