The 30hp was a car made by Lanchester between 1928 and 1932. A total of 126 were built.
The car was fitted with a 4453cc eight-cylinder overhead-cam water-cooled engine. The engine was connected to a four-speed gearbox via a single-plate clutch. The engine produced 100bhp and the car had a top speed of 85mph (137kmh).
The chassis was 11ft 10 1/2in long and had semi-elliptical leaf-springs in the front and cantilever suspension in the rear. The car was fitted with rod-operated brakes and wire wheels.
The chassis cost £1325 when new.
