The Laurin & Klement E (also known as the 24/30 HP) was the largest passenger car model built by the company. It was built in parallel with the Type B and Type C . Like its sister models, it came in 1906 and available as an open four-seater. The E model was built from 1906 to 1909, there were a total of 16 cars made.
The water-cooled, side-valve, four-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a T-head had a displacement of 4562cc and a power output of 35 hp (26 kW). This accelerated the car up to 85 km/h. The power was transferred through a gearbox and a drive-shaft to the rear wheels. The chassis of the car consisted of riveted steel U-profile beams.
