The N Type was a car made by Lea-Francis between 1926 and 1927. A total of 53 cars were made.
The N Type had a four-cylinder 1496cc Anzani side-valve engine (although 9 had Meadows engines). The engine was connected to a four-speed gearbox via a cone clutch. The engine produced 40bhp.
The chassis was 8ft 9in and had semi-elliptical leaf-springs in the front and quarter-elliptical leaf-springs in the rear. Rod-operated brakes were fitted and the handbrake controlled a transmission brake.
The N Type was practically a modified Lea-Francis J Type and cost £275 when new.
