The O Type was a car built by Lea-Francis between
The O Type was a variant of the P Type. It was fitted with the twin-carburettor, higher compression Brooklands version of the engine that came from the P Type.
The engine fitted was a 1496cc Meadows 4ED and with its twin carburettors it was able to produce 52bhp.
The bodywork was fitted with a four-seater or sometimes with a two-seater and dickey bodies.
These cars were capable of a genuine 70mph or more.
Only 55 were built, with two known survivors, both owned by members.
