The Lightning GT and TS were two kit cars produced in the early 1980s. They were inspired by the Corvette Stingray.
The two cars were based on a simple steel box section ladder frame chassis the Lightning utilised the running gear from a Mark 3 Ford Cortina and was fitted with engines up to the Ford Pinto V6.
The bodywork was fibreglass, the GT was the targa roofed version and the TS was the soft top version of which only 1 was believed to have been built. Altogether 10 cars were said to have been made before the manufacturer disappeared from the public eye.
