The Marendaz Special 14/55 was a sports car produced between 1929 and 1931. It is not known how many were made. It was built as an eight-cylinder version of the Marendaz Special 11/55.
The car was fitted with a 1495cc overhead-exhaust side-inlet eight-cylinder Marendaz engine. The engine drove it's power through a single-plate clutch and a four-speed gearbox. The crankshaft had five bearings and the engine was fitted with twin carburettors. The engine produced 55bhp, the top speed is not known.
The chassis was 114in (2,896 mm) in length and had cantilever springs in the rear and double shock absorbers all round. Four wheel brakes were fitted with the front being pedal-operated and handbrake operating the rear wheels.
The chassis cost £600 to buy new.
