The Marendaz Special 17/90 was a car made between 1934 and 1936.
The cars had a 2454 cc side-valve six-cylinder engine which was a larger rebored 13/70 engine. This engine was bored to 67.5mm giving the engine a capacity just under 2.5 litres. The engine was fitted with a single Solex carburettor. Power was driven through a single-plate clutch and a four-speed gearbox. The engine produced 90bhp and it's top speed is not known.
The cars had a 116-inch wheelbase with semi-elliptical leaf-springs in the front and cantilever springs in the rear. The car was available as a tourer, four-seater coupe and a drophead coupe. It is unlikely that the coupe was ever made.
It is not known how many were precisely made.
