Marlin Berlinetta

The Marlin Berlinetta was a kit car produced between 1984 and 1992.

It was the bigger brother to the Marlin Roadster. Firmly aimed at the 2+2 family the Berlinetta came with hard and soft top options and even wind up side windows.

The car, based on a Ford Cortina donor, proved to be a practical vintage style car, and is still popular today with many still on the roads. Many of these can be seen at kit car shows during the year.

Later updates saw the Ford Sierra offering up its mechanical components for the Berlinetta. The general construction followed Marlins proven method of a separate chassis and aluminium main body panels with fibreglass wings.
