The Mathis VL 333 was a microcar made in France, of which less than ten cars were completed.

The 'VL' stood for Light Vehicle and "333" stood for 3 wheels, 3 seats and 3 litres per hundred kilometers.

To reduce power consumption, the cars were built to be lightweight (shell and body in aluminum ), with little rolling resistance thanks to the aerodynamic shape (Cd of 0.285) and three-wheels.

The vehicle is driven by the front wheel by a 700cc flat two-cylinder engine.
