The Matra MS6 was a Formula 2 racing car from 1966.
The MS6 was used by Matra International in 1966 in Formula 2. Matra International was operated by Ken Tyrrell, his goal was the break the domination of the Brabham Formula 2 cars. The MS6 corresponded in its configuration the Matra MS5 from Formula 3 on which it was based.
The car had a stable chassis and Matra International used a Cosworth unit as an engine. To car was sold to some privateers and private teams who used BRM engines.
Brabham Cars had a winning streak until the last race of the season. Only in the last race of the year, had Matra won their first victory.
