The Matra MS7 was a Formula 2 racing car, built and developed by Matra in 1967.

The monocoque had four ribs, which were riveted. The side panels contained the fuel tanks, which had a capacity of 120 litres. The 1.6-litre Cosworth engines needed a lot of fuel. In the three years in which the vehicles were used, they remained almost unchanged. 1968 and 1969 saw the introduction of front and rear wings.

Three times in a row the MS7 was the winning car in the championship. In 1967, the Belgian driver Jacky Ickx was launched into the first Formula 2 European Champion. 1968 saw Jean-Pierre Beltoise have a go at the championship and in 1969 Johnny Servoz-Gavin triumphed for Matra International.
