The Minion Jackal was a kit car produced between 1982 and 1987.

It was of a vintage design and available in a hard top version (which could be removed) or full roadster. Both versions had fully opening doors and 2+2 configuration.

Early examples were based on Vauxhall Viva mechanicals, later versions changed to Ford Cortina for ease of access to spare parts.

The kit was of good quality and was based on a ladderframe chassis but didn't quite catch the kit buyers imagination like other vintage cars of the time did (Marlin and Merlin). It subsequently passed through several manufacturers hands.
