The Moss Mamba was a kit car that was produced between 1983 and 1985.

The car had an acquired taste although it is said that is was based loosely on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Spyder. A short production run saw only a handful being sold. The Moss Owners club believes this to have be between 16 and 22 cars.

The cars were based on the Triumph Herald or Vitesse chassis with a plywood/fibreglass sandwich floor. The Mamba used all of the Triumph running gear, engine, gearbox and even the windscreen.

The GRP bodywork didn't set the world alight in terms of quality and the overall package was a bit crude. Moss did offer their own Ford based chassis, it's not known how many of these exist.
