The NSU 5/25 PS was the last development based on the 5 hp compact car model series that had been produced since 1910. The 5/25 PS was produced between 1925 and 1928.
The original was known as the 5/10 PS. Continuous further development had made the 5 hp car a bestseller. Increased power of 25 hp, stretching the chassis and the addition of 4-wheel brakes made the vehicle a modern and comfortable touring car.
The cars were fitted with a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1307cc. The engine was able of producing 25hp at 2900rpm and accelerated the car to a top speed of 80km/h.
