The Panache LP400 was a wedge-shaped canopy-door kit car produced in the 1980s.

The car was designed by Paul Lawrenson in the early 1980's. The car was heavily based on the Dome Zero at the front end and the Lamborghini Countach at the rear portion of the car.

The cars were based on the Volkswagen Beetle chassis keeping all of the mechanical components and running gear.

The styling of the car was somewhat radical and the canopy-door was unconventional. These two things meant that sales were not high.
