The RW Karma was a kit car that was produced from 1982 until the mid 90s.
The Karma started life as an American import. The body molds were taken from the American version and adapted for the UK market.
Roger Woolley was the man to bring the Karma to the UK kit scene and initially produced it using the Volkswagen Beetle floorpan and all running gear, which was a popular route to the kit car market in the day. Over 1000 kits were produced in total, a great achievement, although you don't tend to see many on the road anymore.
It wasn't long before customers demanded more power so a custom chassis was produced to take mid-engined power from V8 engines, the Rover V8 was the engine of choice.
