1934 Railton Terraplane

The Railton Terraplane was a car which was developed at Brooklands.

The car was developed at Brooklands by Reid Railton who based it on a Hudson Terraplane chassis with a new radiator. This new radiator was based on principles found in aircraft of the time.

The car was fitted with Andre Telecontrol dampers supplemented the standard shock absorbers with a rakish body. It was powered by a Hudson engine mated to a three-speed box.
