The spread plow is a small plow used for planting things in large mound like rows. It is roughly a two foot, one foot eight inch tall blade connected to a hitch. It digs into the ground and the shape of the blade thows soil left and right, creating a large trench. It could be used fot any kind of long and deep digging, from digging a ditch to creating a row for potato plants. They are one of the lighter and simpler tools used on a farm yet, strangely enough, one of the most versatile in the right hands.
