The Surtees TS16 was a Formula 1 race car that that was made by Surtees. It made its debut in the 1974 season, also being used in the 1975 and 1976 seasons.
The car was designed by John Surtees. The car was fitted with a Ford Cosworth DFV engine which was mounted to the cars aluminum monocoque. A Hewland FGA400 gearbox was mated to the engine and the car rode on tyres from Firestone in the first season and tyres from Goodyear in the other two. The car was not particularly brilliant on the track.
The car started its career at the 1974 Argentine Grand Prix being driven by Carlos Pace and Jochen Mass.
