The P-Type had a 1190cc four cylinder engine that had side valves. The engine was connected to a three speed (later four speed) gearbox via a single plate clutch. The car had a top speed of 65mph (105kmh).
The chassis 8ft 6in long and had semi-elliptical leaf springs in the front and quarter-elliptical leaf springs in the rear. Brakes were fitted on all four wheels.
The car cost £235 in 1927 and £250 in 1929.
