UNIC Taxi Cab

The UNIC Taxi Cab is an automobile manufactured by the French automaker UNIC from 1907 to 1911. It primarily served as a taxi cab, hence its name, but some were commandeered during World War I to transport wounded soldiers.

The vehicle is fitted with a 1944cc to 2120cc 4-cylinder L-head engine rated at 12 to 14 hp. It is capable of reaching speeds up to 30 mph (48.28 km/h) and has a turning cycle of only 31 feet. A UNIC Taxi Cab's chassis could be bought for £350 during the vehicle's production.
