The Vale 1100 was a car produced between 1933 and 1936.
The original 832cc engine used in the Vale Special was too slow for serious sporting event so from 1933 a 1098 cc, overhead-inlet, side-exhaust, four-cylinder, Coventry Climax engine was offered. These engines produced 47hp.
Most of the Vale cars had lightweight two-seater open bodies with fold-flat windscreens, but a four-seat version on a long-wheelbase chassis, called the Tourette, was available once the larger-engined versions became available.
